Angry dog

He takes what he wants, never thinks twice,
Burns down bridges, pays the price.
Headstrong, cruel, a force in the fog,
He’s like an angry dog.

Lost friends, broken bones, scars on his skin,
Every fight he enters, he can’t win.
The world has struck him, left him in the smog,
He ended up an angry dog.

The angry dog lies, the dust in his eyes,
The caravan marches, crushing his cries.
They’ll grind him and beat him, they’ll never go mild,
Until he surrenders, until he’s no longer wild.

Never bends, never begs, never kneels,
Raging fire no one can heal.
He pushes forward, leaves hearts in the bog,
He’s like an angry dog.

Stumbled on rocks, blood in the sand,
Lost his ground but still will stand.
The price of rage leaves him in the fog,
He ended up an angry dog.

The angry dog lies, the dust in his eyes,
The caravan marches, crushing his cries.
They’ll grind him and beat him, they’ll never go mild,
Until he surrenders, until he’s no longer wild.

Head high, pride untamed, never cool,
Breaks the rules, plays no one’s fool.
The world will strike, the night won’t clog,
He’s like an angry dog.

Bruised and battered, bleeding and raw,
The cost of freedom leaves him sore.
Still he roams, still he barks through the smog,
He’s like an angry dog.

The angry dog lies, the dust in his eyes,
The caravan marches, crushing his cries.
They’ll grind him and beat him, they’ll never go mild,
Until he surrenders, until he’s no longer wild.
